MY DEAR BRETHREN OF PEARL HARBOR LODGE:
You have seen fit again to call me to the exalted position of master of the Lodge. I hope to prove worthy of the task you have assigned me. Currently, our Lodge website is being updated to include new venue and graphics. Even Bro. Stu Cowan PGM, once popular column in our newsletter ” How Little We Know our Brethren” will be resurrected and appear monthly on the website.
Bro. Bruce Bonnell PGM has volunteered to resurrect our newsletter “The Plumb” official news of Pearl Harbor Lodge F&AM. Your contribution articles and comments are highly encouraged. Monthly copies will appear on the website. Plans are underway to improve communication, Masonic education and fellowship. Also, improvement in better quality refreshment. Future guest speakers have been arranged; their expertise in subjects as Historical freemasonry, Leadership, and Mental & Physical Health, in the modern era, just to mention a few. A Gala, Valentine Sweetheart Banquet is planned for February at Hale Koa Hotel- Standby for further detail. I have briefly commented on what we have accomplished so far.
I am very, impressed with the Officer line for 2011. Eager, enthusiastic and ready to Lead in their respective position. Our Coaches both Officer & Candidate are Ritualistic in their own right and dedicated to perfection and professionalism.
Of great concern, retention of New members, particularly younger Brothers. It has come to my attention this is an area that needs serious improvement. Help me bring the “Warmth of Fellowship” to new members. We need to turn up the Heat! More zeal in the cause of fellowship and harmony.
