Announcement: Lodge of Military Tribute (2023)

The Lodge of Military Tribute is a public ceremony usually performed in a Masonic Lodge hosted by members of the National Sojourners in colonial regalia (or in their military uniforms) designed to attract and recognize military veterans. Accordingly, the ceremony may be used to introduce prospects to the Craft. Note that the ceremony may alternatively be used to recognize all Masons who have served in our armed forces.

Typically, the ceremony is utilized for Memorial Day, Flag Day, Fourth of July, Veterans Day or other appropriate occasion. The last Lodge of Military Tribute Ceremony was held on November 8th, 2018, a few days before the centenary of the end of the First World War. This project was a collaboration between members of the National Sojourners, Heroes of ‘76, and promoted by the brethren of Pearl Harbor Lodge and of Lodge Le Progres de l’Oceanie.

After three years since the breakout of Covid-19, both Pearl Harbor Lodge and the National Sojourners express the desire to hold one again, with Honolulu Lodge having the honor of co-hosting the event.

Once again, the event is open to the public, therefore even candidates, knockers, non-Masons, friends and families are invited to attend. But an RSVP will be required to help our Stewards and their crew know how many to cook for. As the flier mentions please send your reservations to our Senior Steward Brother Jesus de Garcia of Honolulu Lodge F&AM by May 25th.
