Pearl Harbor Lodge Shares in Brotherhood at California’s Annual Communication

Members of Pearl Harbor Lodge F&AM recently traveled to San Francisco to attend the 177th Annual Communication of the Grand Lodge of California, held October 9–11, 2026, at the California Masonic Memorial Temple. The gathering brought together Brethren from throughout California and visiting Masons from around the world for a weekend celebrating leadership, tradition, and fellowship.

The weekend’s program featured Grand Lodge business sessions, updates on the fraternity’s initiatives, and a vendors expo showcasing Masonic regalia, gifts, and partner organizations. Saturday’s festivities included the Grand Master’s Banquet hosted by Grand Master Garrett S. Chan at the Fairmont Hotel’s Venetian Ballroom, along with a Hawaiian-themed luncheon for partners and families featuring live entertainment and tropical activities. The gathering concluded Sunday with public ceremonies installing the incoming Grand Master and Grand Lodge officers.

For the members of Pearl Harbor Lodge, the visit offered an opportunity to strengthen friendships beyond Hawaiʻi and share in the fellowship that connects Masons across jurisdictions. Gatherings such as Annual Communication remind us that, while our lodges may be separated by an ocean, we remain united by our shared commitment to brotherly love, relief, and truth.

Pearl Harbor Lodge extends a warm mahalo to the Grand Lodge of California and its Brethren for welcoming visiting members into this celebration of the Craft. We look forward to continuing these friendships and sharing the spirit of aloha throughout our Masonic family.
